PAREDES CUP

The biggest handball event held in our country, in the municipality of Paredes, a global event that places Portugal as a privileged destination for holding international events.

This Tournament is aimed at Federated Teams, Schools and Men's and Women's National Teams, covering all ages: Men's Minis, Women's Minis, Under-14 Men and Women, Under-16 Men and Women, Under-18 Men and Women, Under- 20/Seniors Men and Women, Masters Men and Masters Women.

The new edition, which takes place from the 10th to the 14th of July, is expected to involve 200 teams with a total of 2600 athletes, distributed across Indoor Handball and Beach Handball.

Since its first edition in 2018, the tournament has been attended by teams from Austria, Germany, Chile, France, Slovenia, Spain, Japan, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Serbia and Taiwan.

The commitment to implementing the Handball modality in the municipality of Paredes, to create an international event brand, is more than cemented and Paredes Handball Cup has consolidated its sporting value.

The organization of this event is in charge of the Paredes City Council, together with several partners in the different components, in which the partnership with the Handball Federation of Portugal, Associação Handebol do Porto, Altis Clube de Paredes, Clube Andebol Baltar, Casa do Povo da Sobreira, Promov Rebordosa Handebol, Sport Clube Nun`Álvares.
